Iurreta in basco o Yurreta in spagnolo è un comune di Biscaglia nella comunità autonoma dei Paesi Baschi in Spagna. Situata nel centro del territorio storico di Biscaglia e nella parte più orientale della comarca del Durangaldea, si trova nella valle del fiume Ibaizabal. Sui suoi territori è stata fondata la città di Durango, alla quale è stata unita tra il 1926 e il 1990. Bilbao, la capitale della provincia, dista 30 km.
