La Plaça de toros di Tarragona, oggi conosciuta come "Tarraco Arena Plaça", è un edificio storico in stile modernista costruito dall'architetto locale Ramón Salas Ricomá ed è considerata una delle prime manifestazioni del Modernismo nella provincia di Tarragona.[1]
L'immobile ha mantenuto il suo uso primigenio fino al 2006 quando la ristrutturazione avviata dalla Diputazione di Tarragona, proprietaria dell'edificio, ha reso impossibile continuare a celebrare feste taurine al suo interno, in base alla legislazione applicabile in Catalogna.
