Alcoy , o Alcoi , è un comune spagnolo situato nella comunità autonoma Valenciana, nella provincia di Alicante, al centro di una depressione circondata dalle montagne ai piedi della Serra de Mariola e solcata da fiumi minori che si uniscono fuori dal centro urbano formando un unico fiume, il rio Serpis detto anche rio de Alcoy che con un percorso tortuoso raggiunge il Mediterraneo.
