The Square mantiene stili diversi . Sul lungomare si trova la Chiesa di Santa Maria, che ha subito molti cambiamenti di stile o religione, romani, musulmani e persino riforme colpite da un terremoto anni fa.
La vegetazione combina grandi alberi come palme, cipressi e allori. .. con piante più piccole o siepi in piccoli giardini circondati da questa specie di siepe, il mirto.
La piazza non è caratterizzata dalla distinzione di diversi spazi, è appunto solo uno spazio centrale che ospita la fontana e 4 corridoi radiali che vi entrano ed escono, creando piccoli spazi giardino tra questi corridoi.
