Un lago dall'acqua limpida.
Il Lago Bianco deve il suo nome al colore cristallino della sabbia sul fondo. Lontano dal comune di Orbey, a 1055 m di altitudine, è situato in un circo naturale dell'era glaciale, in un contesto pieno di rocce e pini. Sono proposte numerose attività all'aperto. Il Club Vosgien ha messo a disposizione 600 km di sentieri escursionistici segnalati, ai quali si aggiungono 250 km di piste per mountain bike, corsi di orientamento e un parco avventura. In inverno, è anche una stazione sciistica classificata da Ski France e le condizioni per lo sci alpino sono ottimali.
La leggenda del Lago Bianco:
Il lago è dominato da una roccia a forma di fortezza, chiamata "Castello Hans". La leggenda racconta che un signore crudele viveva un tempo nel castello che sporgeva dalla roccia, e che terrorizzava la popolazione. Oggi, il "Castello Hans" è soprattutto un bel punto di vista per ammirare il Lago Bianco.
