Castello privato ancora abitato dalla stessa famiglia, è aperto al pubblico tutti i giorni dell'anno. Cheverny è considerato il castello più magnificamente arredato della Valle della Loira. Gli arazzi dei Gobelin, le Fiandre, i cassettoni Luigi XIV e Luigi XV, il regolatore Luigi XV, la camera del Re... e mille altre meraviglie vi incanteranno. Il castello di Cheverny fu usato come modello da Hergé per disegnare il castello di Moulinsart. La mostra permanente "I segreti di Moulinsart" permette ai visitatori di rivivere gli eventi che hanno avuto luogo in questo luogo mitico.
