La cima del Col de Fréland si trova a 834 m di altezza, ma chi prosegue verso Aubure e gira a sinistra in direzione di St.-Marie-aux-Mines può salire altri 50 metri fino al punto più alto di 880 m.
Procedendo ancora un po', si arriva quindi alla cima del Col du Haut Ribeauvillé che si trova a 743 m di altezza.
