Il municipio di Rennes è la sede del consiglio comunale nella città francese di Rennes. È stato classificato dal governo francese come monumento storico dal 1962. L'edificio barocco è stato progettato da Jacques Gabriel, che è stato incaricato di ricostruire molti edifici a Rennes dopo un incendio nel 1720. Gabriel ha scelto di rompere con il passato e costruire una nuova città degna dell'Età dell'Illuminismo. Il municipio è stato situato su una piazza appena costruita. L'ala sud ospitava il consiglio e l'ala nord ospitava un tribunale, mentre nel mezzo c'era un campanile con una statua di Luigi XV, che sarebbe stata distrutta durante la Rivoluzione francese. La statua del monarca era in onore del suo supporto per la ricostruzione della città.
