Il Château de Cambiaire può essere ammirato dall'esterno dai suoi giardini, ma l'interno non è visitabile perché ospita le camere degli ospiti. Risalente al tardo Medioevo, questo edificio illustra l'emergere di abitazioni residenziali nelle Cévennes a partire dal XIV secolo, privilegiando il comfort rispetto al prestigio militare.
La storia del sito è documentata fin dal 1366, sotto la signoria della famiglia Raymond. Nel corso dei secoli, il castello è passato di mano più volte e ha subito anche un incendio durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. La sua architettura, composta da 3 edifici principali e da un mastio quadrato medievale, è stata ristrutturata nel XIX secolo in stile neogotico.
La tenuta ospita una curiosità storica: una replica della grotta di Lourdes e una cappella furono costruite nel 1875 dalla marchesa de Cambiaire dopo la guarigione del figlio. Danneggiato, il santuario è ora in fase di restauro da parte dei proprietari per riportare in vita il luogo. La cappella è aperta al pubblico.
