Sede della signoria di Ban de la Roche, il castello è di proprietà dei Rathsamhausen zum Stein. Il castello fu costruito nel 1180 e gradualmente divenne un covo di riscatto. Per questo motivo, nel 1469 fu assediata e distrutta dal duca di Lorena e dal vescovo di Strasburgo, che poi ne vietarono la ricostruzione.
Accesso: Dal paese, seguire la croce gialla fino al castello. Prevedere mezz'ora di cammino.
