Als zetel van de Heerlijkheid Ban de la Roche is het kasteel eigendom van de Rathsamhausen zum Stein. Het kasteel werd gebouwd in 1180 en werd geleidelijk een hol van losgeld. Daarom werd het in 1469 belegerd en verwoest door de hertog van Lotharingen en de bisschop van Straatsburg, die vervolgens de wederopbouw ervan verbood.
Toegang: Volg vanuit het dorp het gele kruis naar het kasteel. Reken op een half uur lopen.
