SM UC 61 era un sottomarino tedesco della classe UC II. Era in servizio durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale sotto la guida di Georg Gerth. A causa di un campo minato posato dalla UC 61 all'ingresso del porto di Brest, la nave leggera francese Kléber andò perduta nel giugno 1917. Dopo che la UC 61 si arenò sulla costa francese presso Wissant, a sud-ovest di Calais, fu distrutta dall'equipaggio mediante un'esplosione. Il relitto della UC 61 si trova nella posizione 50° 53′ 29,8″ N, 1° 39′ 42,5″ O sulla spiaggia.
