SM UC 61 fue un submarino alemán de la clase UC II. Estuvo en uso durante la Primera Guerra Mundial bajo el mando de Georg Gerth. A causa de un campo de minas que fue colocado por el UC 61 en la entrada del puerto de Brest, el crucero francés Kléber se perdió en junio de 1917. Después de que el UC 61 encallara en la costa francesa cerca de Wissant, al suroeste de Calais, fue destruido por la tripulación mediante una explosión. El naufragio del UC 61 se encuentra en la posición 50° 53′ 29,8″ N, 1° 39′ 42,5″ O en la playa.
