Situata sul campo di battaglia di Verdun, la trincea di Chattancourt è un luogo unico. Ricostruito vicino al punto di incrocio delle trincee di Tolosa e Chattancourt nel 1916, questo sito permette ai visitatori di immergersi nella pelle di un Poilu.
Ogni parte della trincea è stata accuratamente ricreata utilizzando manuali di istruzioni, fotografie d'epoca e testimonianze dei soldati.

Lungo tutto il percorso - 100 metri di trincee e rifugi - il visitatore può proiettarsi nei panni di un soldato grazie alle numerose spiegazioni e agli oggetti esposti. Un viaggio che aiuta a capire la guerra di trincea.
