Oggi si presenta nella forma che gli è stata data nel XIX secolo, ma è molto più antica, risalendo al XV secolo. In passato era sormontato da un tetto di pepe con abbaini per far entrare i piccioni. La colombaia si sviluppa su due livelli, ognuno dei quali presenta numerosi fori per i piccioni, realizzati in terracotta. Interessante anche il cornicione in pietra che impediva ai parassiti di entrare.
