Il Centro fa rivivere la storia della Resistenza, le sue origini e il suo emergere nel dipartimento tra il 1940 e il 1945, ma anche i pericoli corsi da chi ha osato dire no.
Per comprendere meglio tutte le questioni in gioco nella nostra storia locale, una linea temporale la colloca nel suo contesto nazionale e internazionale, dall'indomani della Prima guerra mondiale alla dichiarazione di guerra del 1939.
L'esposizione permanente si estende su una superficie di 200 m² ed è progettata secondo un layout circolare che è al tempo stesso immersivo e didattico.
Il percorso è scandito da tre momenti chiave: la traumatica sconfitta che portò il dipartimento allo scompiglio, il periodo della Resistenza e infine la liberazione del Loir-et-Cher nell'estate del 1944. Il Centro perpetua la missione
