L'area ricreativa e balneare del campeggio Haspelschiedt è aperta al pubblico nelle belle giornate.
Nell'area ricreativa è possibile fare un picnic o un barbecue (tavoli e panchine a disposizione), oltre a una spiaggia di sabbia fine dove la balneazione è sorvegliata in luglio e agosto (sedie a sdraio a disposizione).
Oltre a nuotare in un'acqua rinomata per la sua qualità, ci sono 4 trampolini, un campo da pallavolo, un'area per le bocce e la pesca.
Inoltre, il campeggio offre un parco acquatico gonfiabile, pagaie, canoe e una sauna sulla spiaggia.
L'ingresso è a pagamento per i residenti del campeggio e del villaggio.
