Ai margini dei campi agricoli è stato allestito un punto di osservazione di libero accesso per osservare queste "signore grigie" durante il periodo di svernamento, dalle 10.00 alle 16.00 circa. Un recinto di erica permette di osservarli discretamente con un binocolo, senza disturbarli. Per arrivarci, ci si ritrova davanti alla locanda del paese (una piacevole pausa pranzo prima o dopo l'osservazione delle gru) e si segue l'anello delle gru segnalato con cartelli di legno lungo i sentieri per raggiungere il sito di osservazione.
Il ritorno avviene in parte per la stessa via e l'anello si conclude nel villaggio di Cazalis
