Situato all'ingresso del villaggio, il cimitero tedesco di Saint-Maurice ospita 1.775 morti tedeschi e 14 morti dell'esercito imperiale e reale tedesco. Il cimitero è stato allestito a partire dal 1914. La guerra di posizione, l'offensiva tedesca contro Verdun nella primavera del 1916 e i combattimenti dal 1916 al 1918 causarono gravi perdite. Dopo la guerra le autorità militari francesi ampliarono il cimitero. Tra le due guerre, il Volksbund si occupò del giardinaggio, piantò alberi e migliorò le scale e le terrazze. Nel 1970 le croci di legno sono state sostituite da croci di metallo. Dei 402 morti nella fossa comune, solo dodici sono noti.
