Der deutsche Friedhof von Saint-Maurice liegt am Eingang des Dorfes und beherbergt 1.775 deutsche Tote und 14 Tote der kaiserlichen und königlichen deutschen Armee. Der Friedhof wurde ab 1914 angelegt. Der Stellungskrieg, die deutsche Offensive gegen Verdun im Frühjahr 1916 und die Kämpfe von 1916 bis 1918 führten zu schweren Verlusten. Nach dem Krieg erweiterten die französischen Militärbehörden den Friedhof. Zwischen den beiden Kriegen kümmerte sich der Volksbund um die Gartenarbeit, pflanzte Bäume und verbesserte die Treppen und Terrassen. Im Jahr 1970 wurden die Holzkreuze durch Metallkreuze ersetzt. Von den 402 Toten im Massengrab sind nur zwölf bekannt.
