A Le Chapeau de Soleil si può campeggiare davvero, senza inutili lussi o fronzoli. Le piazzole sono riservate alle tende (e ai piccoli camper). Alcune piazzole sono dotate di elettricità. In altre è possibile utilizzare i servizi igienici.
