Gisèle e Jean-Adrien vi danno il benvenuto a Montfort-en-Chalosse, nel sud delle Landes. Il nome del loro gîte è direttamente collegato al villaggio, che è una Bastide, costruita nel XIII secolo. Scopritelo attraverso un tour disponibile presso l'Ufficio del Turismo, situato nel villaggio. Sapevate che il mercoledì è giorno di mercato? Dopo aver fatto acquisti, scendete al Museo della Chalosse (tenuta agricola come nel XIX secolo). Si passa su un ponte che si affaccia sulla Voie Verte de Chalosse. Vietato ai veicoli motorizzati, può condurvi a Mugron (visita della città con l'applicazione gratuita Tèrra Aventura, galleria d'arte Rouge Garance, cantina...).
Il gîte che offrono è adiacente alla loro casa ma ha un ingresso indipendente. È un ex studio medico. Metti il naso in biblioteca, è in bagno!
