Gisèle en Jean-Adrien heten u welkom in Montfort-en-Chalosse, in het zuiden van de Landes. De naam van hun gîte is direct verbonden met het dorp, dat een Bastide is, gebouwd in de 13e eeuw. Ontdek het tijdens een rondleiding bij het VVV-kantoor in het dorp. Wist je dat woensdag marktdag is? Als u uw boodschappen heeft gedaan, gaat u naar het Chalosse Museum (landbouwbedrijf zoals in de 19e eeuw). U passeert een brug met uitzicht op de Voie Verte de Chalosse. Verboden voor gemotoriseerde voertuigen, kan het u leiden naar Mugron (stadswandeling met de gratis applicatie Tèrra Aventura, kunstgalerie Rouge Garance, kelder...).
De gîte die zij aanbieden grenst aan hun huis, maar heeft een eigen ingang. Het is een voormalige dokterspraktijk. Steek je neus in de bibliotheek, het is in de badkamer!
