La Madonna della Pace, che domina il villaggio, veglia sui parrocchiani.
Domenica 14 settembre 1952, alle ore 15.00, in cima alla Grand'roche e davanti a un pubblico di circa 1.500 persone, si è svolta la solenne cerimonia di benedizione del monumento votivo alla Santa Vergine, onorata in parrocchia con il titolo di Nostra Signora della Pace. Tutte le società sportive, atletiche e patriottiche, i vigili del fuoco, la banda municipale, gli scout, ecc. erano presenti, tutti schierati.
Una società elettrica aveva installato quattro fari alimentati da un generatore che hanno illuminato il monumento per due notti
Da qualche anno, i pannelli fotovoltaici accumulano energia solare durante il giorno per illuminare la statua al calar del sole. Come un'apparizione, sembra rimanere sospesa nel cielo per diverse ore.
