Gli scavi archeologici del 1994-95 hanno portato alla luce una grande domus gallo-romana (casa urbana) degli inizi del I secolo d.C., completa di ipocausto (sistema di riscaldamento ad aria calda). A est, era delimitata da una strada romana, da un canale di navigazione e da un quartiere di modeste abitazioni (insula). Il sito è stato anche sede del cosiddetto deposito monetale di Chaillouet: un'anfora contenente 186.000 monete romane e locali (oggi esposta al Musée Saint-Loup). Alcuni resti sono esposti nel cortile degli edifici (accessibili al pubblico dall'ingresso di rue Simart). È inoltre possibile fare una piacevole passeggiata lungo la Senna.
