Archeologische opgravingen in 1994-95 legden een grote Gallo-Romeinse domus (stadshuis) bloot uit het begin van de 1e eeuw na Christus, compleet met hypocaustum (heteluchtverwarming). In het oosten werd het begrensd door een Romeinse weg, een navigatiekanaal en een wijk met bescheiden woningen (insula). Op deze plek werd ook het gelddepot 'Chaillouet' gevonden: een amfora met 186.000 Romeinse en lokale munten (nu te zien in het Musée Saint-Loup). Een deel van de overblijfselen wordt tentoongesteld op de binnenplaats van de gebouwen (toegankelijk voor het publiek via de ingang van de rue Simart). Je kunt ook genieten van een aangename wandeling langs de Seine.
