Pesca: praticata da oltre 7 secoli, la pesca è abbondante: sogliole, orate, calamari chiamati chipirons, naselli, busbane, maigre? I pescatori professionisti di Capbreton, con la loro flotta di 19 barche, praticano la pesca artigianale principalmente con reti, ma anche con reti a strascico, palangari o trappole. Il frutto del loro pescato viene venduto ogni giorno ai piedi della Capitaneria di Porto.
È il punto di partenza per molte attività nautiche: vela, uscite in mare, pesca in mare, jet-ski...
