Il "chirone" (nome locale delle sfere di granito che emergono dal terreno) è un elemento molto comune in natura, attorno al quale sono state immaginate molte leggende e storie misteriose. Il sito naturale del Rocher Branlant, nel comune di Largeasse, è costellato da questi chironi, dove un caos di granito lascia intravedere anche una pietra traballante: il Rocher Branlant. La leggenda della roccia traballante? Si dice che la pietra traballante fosse usata come "pietra del giudizio", in particolare per le donne che avevano commesso adulterio, le quali erano giustificate nella loro accusa se riuscivano a far traballare una di queste pietre. Realtà o semplice leggenda?
