Nel cuore del dinamico quartiere di Saint-Esprit, questo superbo edificio in stile Art Déco progettato dai fratelli Gomez e gestito dalla Città di Bayonne ha accolto migliaia di visitatori dalla sua apertura. Dopo i progetti dedicati a Carlos Saura, Lucien Clergue, Raymond Depardon, Nikos Aliagas, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Liu Bolin, Thomas Pesquet, Véronique de Viguerie, Hugo Pratt e Joséphine Baker, il Didam continua a proporre durante tutto l'anno mostre dedicate ai grandi nomi dell'arte contemporanea del XX e XXI secolo, oltre che ai principali artisti locali che eccellono in una varietà di media.
