Soprannominato il mostro della Linea Maginot, ha 10 chilometri di gallerie e 19 blocchi di combattimento distribuiti su 1,6 km².
Qui si possono vedere le installazioni d'epoca in funzione, dalla centrale elettrica alla torretta d'artiglieria, senza dimenticare il negozio di munizioni e la caserma con le cucine e l'infermeria ricostruite in modo identico. È possibile effettuare lunghi viaggi attraverso il forte con una visita guidata su un treno elettrico d'epoca. C'è anche un sentiero segnalato per esplorare l'intero sito dall'esterno.
La temperatura è di 12 gradi, quindi portatevi abiti caldi.
