A metà strada tra Castillon-La-Bataille e Sainte-Foy-La-Grande, Gensac è un bastione naturale che domina le valli della Durèze e della Dordogna. Questo piccolo villaggio, classificato come "borgo antico", ha conservato le sue strade acciottolate, i resti dei bastioni e le case medievali restaurate. Durante la giornata, visitate la città bastide di Sainte-Foy-La-Grande, fondata nel XIII secolo sulle rive della Dordogna. La sera, in estate, non perdetevi la superba rievocazione della battaglia di Castillon, animata e interpretata da centinaia di volontari. Vicino a Saint Emilion e allo Château de Duras, soggiornate direttamente tra le mura dell'antico villaggio di Gensac, con una vista molto piacevole sui vigneti.
