Gli Stormont, Dundas e Glengarry Highlanders (SDG) sono un reggimento di fanteria della Primary Reserve dell'esercito canadese.
A metà settembre 1944, la 3a divisione di fanteria canadese, guidata dall'8a e dalla 9a brigata di fanteria canadese, ricevette l'ordine di catturare Boulogne-sur-Mer . L'operazione era denominata in codice Wellhit .
I soldati dell'SDG furono condotti all'interno del castello attraverso un tunnel segreto da uno sconosciuto di Boulonnais, cogliendo di sorpresa i 200 difensori.
