Los Stormont, Dundas y Glengarry Highlanders (SDG) son un regimiento de infantería de la Reserva Primaria del Ejército canadiense.
A mediados de septiembre de 1944, la 3.ª División de Infantería canadiense, dirigida por las 8.ª y 9.ª Brigadas de Infantería canadienses, recibió la orden de capturar Boulogne-sur-Mer . La operación recibió el nombre en código de Wellhit .
Los soldados del SDG fueron conducidos al castillo a través de un túnel secreto por un Boulonnais desconocido, sorprendiendo a los 200 defensores.
