La tavola rotonda di orientamento in ceramica , posta sulla cima del Pic du Cap Roux (453 m), è uno strumento panoramico : mostra i nomi e la direzione delle montagne, delle isole e delle città riconoscibili nei dintorni.
La tabella è stata installata dall'ONF (Office National des Forêts) , che gestisce l'Estérel, e fa parte di una rete di tabelle di orientamento nelle aree naturali francesi.
Cosa puoi vedere dalla tabella?
- Le Alpi a nord (Mont Ventoux con tempo sereno)
- Cannes , Isole di Lerino e il Mar Mediterraneo a est
- Il litorale di Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël e più a ovest
- E nelle giornate molto limpide: Corsica (in mare aperto)
Una volta arrivati al tavolo di orientamento, camminate per qualche metro verso ovest : c'è un angolo tranquillo con vista sulle rocce dell'interno, un posto spesso trascurato in assenza di vento.
