Questa è la nona tappa della Via Tolonensis, in Francia conosciuta anche come GR653, una delle quattro vie principali dalla Francia a Santiago di Compostela. Il percorso parte da Arles passando per Montpellier, Castres e Tolosa fino al Col de Somport dove si collega ai cammini spagnoli.
La tappa da Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière a Lodève è lunga 15 km ed è segnata dai noti segni rosso e bianco.
