Kirkbymoorside () è una piccola città di mercato e parroccia civile nel distretto di Ryedale, nel North Yorkshire, Inghilterra, a circa 25 miglia a nord di York, a metà strada tra Pickering e Helmsley, ai margini del Parco Nazionale delle North York Moors. Ha una popolazione di circa 3.000 abitanti, misurata nel Censimento del 2011 come 3.040.
Kirkbymoorside è noto come Chirchebi nel Libro di Domesday del 1086. Ha servito come un hub commerciale almeno dal 1254, quando divenne una città di mercato. Sono presenti due antiche locande, il Black Swan con il suo portico intagliato, e il George and Dragon a struttura crociera, che ha origine nel XIII secolo. Le facciate georgiane indicano periodi successivi di prosperità commerciale lungo la strada di coaching tra York e Scarborough.
