Cwm Pennant è stata spesso chiamata "La valle più bella del Galles". (Cwm significa valle in gallese) È una valle stretta confinata su tre lati dalle montagne del Nantlle Ridge, Y Garn, Mynydd Tal Y Mignedd, Moel Lefn ed è situata a sud-ovest della principale catena montuosa del Snowdon. È un grande percorso fino al termine di questa valle (e non c'è altra via d'uscita, se non tornare indietro per dove sei venuto).
