L'ospedale Fair Mile era un manicomio costruito nel 1870 nel villaggio di Cholsey, 2 miglia a sud di Wallingford e a nord di Moulsford. Il manicomio è stato costruito accanto al fiume Tamigi tra Wallingford e Reading, precedentemente nel Berkshire ma, a seguito dei cambiamenti di confine del 1974, ora si trova nell'Oxfordshire.
