Stackhouse, è un piccolo borgo vicino a Giggleswick sulla riva occidentale del fiume Ribble nel North Yorkshire, Inghilterra.
Stackhouse si trova sul lato occidentale del fiume Ribble nel nord di Ribblesdale, di fronte a Langcliffe, e a 1,2 miglia a nord di Giggleswick. Il borgo è situato sulla strada da Settle a Helwith Bridge attraverso Knight Stainforth. Il borgo è menzionato nel Domesday Book come appartenente a Roger de Poitu, sebbene senza popolazione residente. Il borgo era elencato come avente quasi 400 acri e successivamente passò sotto il possesso dell'Abbazia di Furness intorno al 1175. Il borgo è stato registrato nel corso dei secoli come: Stacuse, Stachus, Stachossum, Stakhossum e Stackhowse. Il nome deriva dall'Old Norse che significa "la casa vicino, o per, i covoni." A volte il nome del borgo è scritto come Stack House.
