Il Pleistos è un fiume nella Grecia centrale. Scola la valle del Pleistos, che prende il nome da essa, una valle di rift relativamente recente a nord del Golfo di Corinto e parallela ad esso. Hanno le stesse cause geologiche. Essendo situato in una topografia carsica, gran parte del fiume scorre o filtra attraverso canali sotterranei. Il corso d'acqua superficiale è intermittente. Tuttavia, il letto del fiume in pietra calcarea che riflette la luce dà l'apparenza di un corso d'acqua.
