Ballyvourney è un villaggio Gaeltacht nel sud-ovest della contea di Cork, Irlanda. È una parrocchia civile nel baronato di Muskerry West ed è anche una parrocchia ecclesiastica nella diocesi cattolica romana di Cloyne. Ballyvourney fa parte del collegio Dáil di Cork North-West.
Il villaggio si estende lungo la strada N22 che collega la città di Cork con Killarney. La grande città più vicina è Macroom, mentre l'aeroporto internazionale più vicino è l'aeroporto di Cork. A partire dal 2015, è stata proposta la costruzione di 22 km di strada a carreggiata doppia da Coolcour sul lato orientale di Macroom, aggirando Macroom a nord e terminando a ovest di Ballyvourney. La Route 40 di Bus Éireann Expressway tra Rosslare Europort e Tralee attraversa Ballyvourney.
