L'Abbazia di Ballintubber è un'abbazia situata a 2 chilometri a nord-est di Ballintubber, Mayo, in Irlanda, fondata dal re Cathal Crobdearg Ua Conchobair nel 1216.
Nonostante fosse stata soppressa e danneggiata durante la Riforma protestante, l'abbazia senza tetto continuò a essere utilizzata durante i tempi di pena dai cattolici. Nel 1963, furono eseguite ampie scavi archeologici prima di iniziare i lavori di restauro. Nel 1966, la navata era stata restaurata e ri-tettata, in tempo per il 750° anniversario della fondazione dell'abbazia, anche se i lavori continuarono fino al 1969. Nel 1997, il Capitolo e l'area Dorter furono restaurati e ri-tettati. Nel 2016, durante le celebrazioni dell'800° anniversario, fu concessa l'autorizzazione per il restauro dell'intero ala est.
