Nichelino è un comune italiano di 46 293 abitanti della città metropolitana di Torino in Piemonte, situato nell'area metropolitana di Torino a circa 5 km a sud dal capoluogo piemontese. Il 17 gennaio 2000 un decreto del Presidente della Repubblica Carlo Azeglio Ciampi ha assegnato ufficialmente a Nichelino il titolo di Città.
