Posada è un comune italiano di 3 056 abitanti della provincia di Nuoro e il capoluogo storico della Baronia.
Posada è uno dei centri abitati sardi più antichi in assoluto. La scoperta di una statuetta rappresentante un Ercole italico del V-IV secolo a.C. unitamente al ritrovamento di reperti di pari epoca, testimonia la presenza dell'uomo sin da tempi remoti.
