Aldino è un comune italiano di 1 648 abitanti della provincia autonoma di Bolzano in Trentino-Alto Adige.
Il toponimo è attestato nel Medioevo come in loco Aldin , in Alden e Aldein e deriva probabilmente da un nome di persona germanico, latinizzato in Aldius. Il nome del paese fu italianizzato nel 1928 in Valdagno di Trento e nel 1940 in Aldagno, ma nel 1955 ricevette il nome attuale.
