Pietra Ligure è un comune italiano di 8 277 abitanti della provincia di Savona in Liguria. Fa parte della conurbazione che si estende da Borgio Verezzi a Borghetto Santo Spirito .
Il comune rivierasco si estende sulla costa per circa sei chilometri, fra i comuni di Borgio Verezzi e Loano. Le sue coste sono basse e ghiaiose, tipiche della Riviera di Ponente. La città è attraversata dal torrente Maremola. Alle sue spalle si trova il monte Carmo di Loano , prima cima notevole delle Alpi Liguri dopo la Bocchetta di Altare.
