Sorico è un comune italiano di 1 236 abitanti della provincia di Como in Lombardia, dell'euroregione Regio Insubrica e della "Comunità montana dell'Alto Lario Occidentale"
Situato nel punto più a nord del lago di Como , rappresenta l'ultimo paese fluviale del bacino del fiume Mera e costituisce il punto di raccordo fra Alto Lario, Valtellina e Valchiavenna.
Il comune con i suoi 23 km² è il quarto per estensione territoriale della provincia di Como.
Sorico si raggiunge in automobile percorrendo la SS340 , la SS38 o la SS36 , in treno, stazione di Colico a 9 km, linea 36 Milano-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano, in autobus linea C10 Como-Colico. In battello, scalo di Domaso o di Colico .
