Mignano Monte Lungo è un comune italiano di 2 982 abitanti della provincia di Caserta in Campania.
È condivisa da molti studiosi l'opinione che il toponimo Mignano derivi dal nome di persona latino Minius. Poiché il territorio di Mignano fu il campo nel 1943 di due importanti battaglie della seconda guerra mondiale per la presa di monte Lungo, quest'ultimo toponimo fu aggiunto nel 1947 all'originario a futura memoria.
