Falconara Marittima è un comune italiano di 25 588 abitanti della provincia di Ancona nelle Marche.
La cittadina è vicina ad Ancona, con la quale forma un unico agglomerato urbano, tanto che i quartieri costieri di Palombina Vecchia e Palombina Nuova sono contigui; si estende interamente lungo la costa del mare Adriatico e si presenta con un lungo lido sabbioso frequentato d'estate anche da molti turisti e, naturalmente, dalla popolazione locale. Falconara si affaccia sul Golfo di Ancona, cosa che rende il suo litorale paesaggisticamente interessante.
