La basilica cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta è il principale luogo di culto cattolico di Orvieto, in provincia di Terni, chiesa madre della diocesi di Orvieto-Todi e capolavoro dell'architettura gotica dell'Italia Centrale. Nel gennaio del 1889 papa Leone XIII l'ha elevata alla dignità di basilica minore. È monumento nazionale italiano.
